CH-Alpha
What is CH-Alpha?
CH-Alpha is a nutraceutical that was developed to
help millions of Americans with chronic joint symptoms improve their flexibility and
enhance their quality of life. It comes in single-dose vials of liquid taken once a day.
Each vial contains 10 grams of collagen hydrolysate with Bioactive Collagen Peptides,
a unique collection of proteins and amino acids, which are the building blocks of
cartilage that serves as a cushion" between the bones of the joints.
How does CH-Alpha work?
Medical studies have shown that after being
ingested, the collagen hydrolysate in CH-Alpha enters the blood stream and primarily
accumulates in joint tissue. The collagen hydrolysate then stimulates cartilage cells
(called chondrocytes) to increase production of type II collagen and proteoglycans, which
are essential to maintaining the strength and elasticity of cartilage. CH-Alpha is the
only product with a U.S. patent for cartilage regeneration.
Why would people need new cartilage in
their joints?
We all lose cartilage through wear and tear that
occurs with age, obesity, heredity, injuries and/or recurrent stress on joints, and this
loss creates friction between the bones. Chronic Joint Symptoms is a broad
term coined by the Centers for Disease Control and is characterized by discomfort, aching,
stiffness, loss of flexibility, and swelling in and around a joint that occur with the
degeneration of cartilage.
Chronic joint symptoms are Americas leading
cause of disability in people aged 18 and older, ultimately affecting about 70 million
people. This number is likely to climb significantly in the future, as the population over
age 50 is expected to double by 2020.2
How can I be sure CH-Alpha will work for
me?
More than 2,000 patients in 14 clinical trials
conducted over 25 years have experienced the positive benefits of CH-Alpha. These studies
have shown that within two to three months, collagen hydrolysate significantly reduced
pain and joint discomfort, increased mobility and strength in afflicted joints, and
reduced the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin and ibuprofen.
When could I expect to start feeling better
after taking CH-Alpha?
In clinical studies, participants experienced
increased flexibility and reduced joint stiffness and pain after just two to three months.
How do I know CH-Alpha is safe?
The collagen hydrolysate in CH-Alpha has been
listed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as GRAS, or Generally Recognized as
Safe. It is non-allergenic and cholesterol-free, and medical studies have not found
any known interactions with other medications or foods and thus is safe for long-term,
regular use. Side effects are uncommon, but include, in rare cases, flatulence or
diarrhea.
